Terms of Service
Effective date: August 18, 2026
Welcome to uxedforit.com (the "Site"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site and its contents. By visiting the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Brad Dalrymple ("I," "me," or "my"), an individual based in Chicago, Illinois.
1. Ownership of content
Except where stated otherwise in Section 3 or Section 5, all content on the Site is my property or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This includes but is not limited to:
Written content, including case studies, essays, articles, and methodology descriptions
Images, diagrams, infographics, charts, and illustrations
Video and audio content, including the Something Feels Off series
Page design, layout, visual system, and typography choices
Source files, templates, and downloadable materials
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any content to you.
2. What you may do
You may:
View, read, and watch content on the Site for personal or professional reference
Link to any public page on the Site
Quote short excerpts for the purpose of commentary, criticism, teaching, scholarship, or news reporting, with clear attribution and a link back to the source page
Share links to Site content on social media or in professional contexts
Use content in the manner permitted by Section 3, where that section applies
3. The Critique Framework for Product Design and Research
The Critique Framework for Product Design and Research, and the associated Critique Agent, are published separately under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
That license governs those works and takes precedence over any conflicting provision in these Terms. Under CC BY 4.0 you are free to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon those materials for any purpose, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit, link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made.
Nothing in Section 4 restricts any right granted to you by CC BY 4.0 with respect to those works.
If you are unsure whether a particular item on the Site falls under CC BY 4.0, please ask before assuming either way.
4. What you may not do
Except as permitted by Section 2, Section 3, or applicable law, you may not:
Copy, download, save, screenshot, record, or otherwise reproduce Site content for redistribution
Republish, mirror, or host Site content on another website, platform, or service
Use Site content in a portfolio, proposal, presentation, or credential as though it were your own work
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, watermark, credit, or attribution
Use automated tools — including scrapers, crawlers, bots, or downloaders — to systematically extract, index, or archive Site content, except for well-behaved search engine crawlers that respect the Site's robots directives
Use Site content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning models or generative AI systems without my prior written permission
Share direct file URLs, embed links, or access credentials for any restricted, unlisted, or member-only area of the Site
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access restriction on the Site
Use Site content in any way that is unlawful, defamatory, or that misrepresents its origin or my involvement
5. Third-party content
Some content on the Site incorporates material licensed from third parties. This includes music licensed from Epidemic Sound, typefaces licensed from their respective foundries, and other third-party assets.
My rights in that material are limited to my own use of it. I cannot and do not grant you any right to reproduce, extract, or reuse third-party material appearing on the Site, including the audio in any video published here. If you want to use such material, you must obtain your own license from the rights holder.
This applies regardless of any permission granted elsewhere in these Terms.
6. Case studies and professional work
Case studies and project descriptions on the Site reflect my own account of work I have performed. They are presented for the purpose of describing my professional practice.
Metrics, outcomes, and details have been included only where I am permitted to share them. Confidential, proprietary, and personally identifying information has been omitted or generalized. Nothing on the Site is published on behalf of any current or former employer or client, and no employer or client endorsement is stated or implied. Views expressed are my own.
If you believe any content on the Site discloses information that should not be public, contact me at the address in Section 10 and I will review it promptly.
7. No professional advice
Content on the Site — including the Critique Framework, methodology descriptions, essays, and video content — is offered for general informational and educational purposes.
It does not constitute professional consulting advice, and it does not create any advisory or contractual relationship between us. You are responsible for evaluating whether any approach described here is appropriate for your situation.
8. No warranty
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
I do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.
9. Links to other sites
The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including GitHub, Medium, LinkedIn, and others. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
10. Permission requests and contact
I am generally happy to say yes. If you want to use content from the Site in a way these Terms do not permit — reprinting a case study, using a diagram in a talk or course, referencing the work in a publication — please ask.
Contact: bjdalrymple@gmail.com
Please include what you want to use, where it will appear, and how it will be attributed.
11. Reporting a concern
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or another right you hold, contact me at the address in Section 10 with a description of the material, its location on the Site, and your basis for the claim. I will review and respond.
12. Changes to these Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
